Failure?

Failure is the first step to success.”

This is what we’ve been getting to listen to, for years now.

But how can one actually take a failure as not a failure is the point of challenge.

So, what do you think?

If you fail somewhere, how big a difference does it make?

Of course when I write this, the first thought that may come in your mind is if I know how big your problem is, that success or failure matters or not.(if may not, then just let me know what came)

Well, here is the fact. Every failure is a failure, may whatever be the case.

Hence there is a risk of losing in everything, starting from a game competition to a job interview or selection.

So, here’s the solution.

Take a competition as a practice

As simple as it sounds, as remedial it is.

Well, it makes two senses. Taking something big as something casual can

1. Make you take it non serious (Not that you will not smile ;)).

2. Increase your confidence by making you comfortable

I, of course, do not refer to the first sense. That is just going to complicate it. Because hard work and concentration are the kinds of seriousness required here, absence of which may just clearly set you out of the way.

Be comfortable, be strong, trust in yourself. Even if you fail more than once or even twice, it is fine. Life does not stop cause if it would have, you wouldn’t have been here reading.

Another important part is that you can learn only when you fail. Once you do mistakes, and most importantly, learn from them, you do not tend to do more mistakes.

The best way to un-complicate a complication is to take it easy (Again, take the right mean folks).

Success and failure are as close as the head and tail of a coin.

Smile and try even when you lose, it’s the best method to learn"

Right or Wrong? / What you want?

You know all of us have to make choices everyday. From very irrelevant to be considered as a choice like choosing what to wear, to huge decisions like applying for a job.

The point is what you choose even for choosing. Whether doing the right thing or doing the thing that makes you feel happy.

Being good, is of course, good. But being happy, well, not everything can do that. And without staying happy, you can never achieve anything completely.

When do you have to do the right thing and when to follow your heart to do something that gives you satisfaction? It's a tough thing to decide between these two.
Because many a times when you follow your heart and do something wrong, the guilt can kill you.

But that doesn't mean you stop living for yourself. Yeah you might have heard about this being one of the many lives that we have got and yada yada yada; but hey, who knows?

According to me this is the only life that I have got for certain. I don't have any idea about anything else. So, I choose to follow my heart.

Not in every case, though. I follow my heart when it doesn't cause any damage to anyone. However if there was no-one to harm and nothing bad involved, following your heart is equivalent to choosing the right one. And trust me folks, it doesn't happen so often.

So, do the right thing if you do not lose something valuable and if you feel doing the wrong will hurt someone so hard to recover. Or else throw the it in the dustbin! Hey if you do not live for yourself, then who will?

Over smart?

Being smart is smart.

But being over-smart can kill you.

And many people forget the first but keep handy the second one.

Taking assignments for instance: I've seen everywhere that the assignments the students get in their schools or colleges have a maximum of 10 original copies only, in a mass of 60 or 70.

Rest all is copied.

If you are among the one who makes the assignment on your own, we are on the same track.

Taking others' assignments as reference is smartness. Fine, you do not actually need to do much work in that.

Blindly copying the assignments, well, "may the eyes be closed or the mind", quoted by my professor, is over smartness. Because one thing they forget is that teachers can be smart as well. Come on, they have been students too.
And the strictness of the teacher reflects what kind of a student he or she was. Whether copied or let others copy or none!

Another extreme case is when the first page of some anonymous assignment copy is being replaced by a page that has your name. Guess what, as fun as it sounds, as dangerous it is. You may not be caught if lucky, but if it's not your day, well, you're gone.

Well, it is not just a matter of assignments and projects. Happens everywhere.

"Try to be smart, but don't be too excited to be over-smart!"

Reason to do?

What did I do in my holidays?

Practically speaking, nothing!

But took a ton of decisions and changed my life upside down, including my friends' (hope I was allowed to do that).

So, I was thinking I want to write something that is useful. Turns out I am not writing for I am supposed to, I should enjoy the act.

I learnt that everything we do need not have a reason. If you think it should behind everything, then my best reason would be:

"I am doing it because I want to".

And today, I write because I want to. I enjoy whatever it is.

We should live our lives, for we do not know how many lives do we have, and we have not gained superpowers to see what happens afterlife.

"Do things because you feel like it, not because you are bound to."

Who am I?

Welcome to my blog. Hi, I am Shakthi Priya.

I am a student pursuing B.tech, just entering the second year. As big as my name is, my hobbies are big in number. I am a reason-freak. And that's one of the reasons I am a science-freak, well a math one as well. As I said, I am pretty much interested in everything. :)

I used to write songs and poems, left it a year back and now my interests have got some time. So, here I am. The best possible way to express myself. :)

The world is filled with something or other to learn and I will just give out the lessons that are being taught to me everyday.. :)

Thanks for your valuable time.. :)
